Transportation in Halkidiki is made mainly by car or by bus. The public means of transportation connects all tourist places serving thousands of passengers every summer.

Buses

There are local buses to transfer visitors to the most touristic places in Halkidiki. There are central bus stations in Polygyros, Nea Moudania, Neos Marmaras, while there is also a central bus station near the airport of Thessaloniki. This makes it easy for visitors to arrive at the airport of Thessaloniki and take the bus to Halkidiki. You can check the bus routes’ timetable here.

Car rentals

Traveling by car is the most convenient way to travel around the large region of Halkidiki. You have the chance to drive through beautiful roads leading to traditional villages and amazing beaches. Many visitors come to Halkidiki with their private cars, but there are also many car and motorbike rental agencies in the most touristic places of Halkidiki. You may also rent a car upon your arrival in Thessaloniki and then drive to Halkidiki. The road network is good and safe. The nearest car rental agencies to our resort are in Nea Moudania (6km away).

Taxis

Taxi cabs can be found in all central spots of Halkidiki. There are many Taxi agencies ready to serve you with just a call.

Boats

There are excursion boats from Ouranoupolis and Vourvourou to Mount Athos during the summer season. There is also a plethora of marinas to harbor your boat.
